Workplace Personnel ConflictDealing with Performance and Conduct Issues - Nov. 13-14

Learn and Practice Proven Performance and Conduct Management Techniques

The Oregon FEB is pleased to bring back a powerful two-day seminar for federal supervisors, managers, and union officials that will provide a framework for determining when personnel actions are and are not appropriate, and more. In this seminar, participants will:

  • Learn when to use disciplinary vs. performance procedures.
  • Be aware of disciplinary options from reminders to removals.
  • See why marginal/minimal ratings can prove a waste of time.
  • Understand the basic provisions of a “performance Improvement plan”.
  • Recognize matters where a mediator may be of real assistance.
  • Walk away with an arsenal of legal and common-sense options.

Instructor Robbie Kunreuther is the Director of Government Personnel Services in Seattle and the former Associate Director of the Federal Personnel Management Institute. Capacity is limited to 30, so early registration is encouraged.

Reviews for past sessions held in Portland have been overwhelmingly positive. Comments included:

"It is such a pleasure to take a class from a consummate professional such as Robbie. All the HR people in my agency should be required to take his classes. His mastery of not only the subject matter, but of the classroom and heuristic methods is apparent and appreciated."

"This class should be part of a supervisor's Individual Development Plan. It is really needed . . . "
